Shrine Room

Among the center's sacred spaces are dedicated shrines and worship areas representing several faith traditions. The Hindu Altar provides a place for worship and devotion centered around Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, creativity, and music. The Buddhist Altar supports meditation, chanting, offerings, and contemplation while reflecting important Buddhist teachings and symbols. The Jain Altar embodies the tradition's commitment to Ahimsa (nonviolence) and offers a sacred environment for worship, reflection, and spiritual practice. The Sikh Cabinet respectfully houses sacred items used in Sikh prayer and worship and honors the central role of the Guru Granth Sahib within the Sikh tradition.
